SCHOOL SAFETY FORUM
From Columbine, to last months deadly high school shooting in Parkland Florida, we as Americans have been witness to several horrific shootings in our nations schools in recent years. If your are a parent, grandparent, or guardian for a child today, you wonder just how safe are our kids and what would happen if God forbid, there was an incident of this type in one of our Lapeer County schools. Many want to know what is currently being done to protect our kids and what can we do to help keep our kids safe.
To this end, we invite you to join us this Tuesday evening at 7PM for our School Safety Forum. Our guests will be Lapeer County Sheriff Scott McKenna, Lapeer Community Schools Superintendent Matt Wandrie, Imlay City Schools Superintendent Dr. Stu Cameron, and North Branch Area Schools Superintendent Jim Fish.
This will be an open, honest and frank discussion of what is being done to protect our kids, what options are currently available to law enforcement, and how can we as parents, and citizens help to keep our kids safe. We hope that you will join us this Tuesday, March 20th at 7PM for this important event. Start time will be at 7PM at Mayfield Township Hall, 1900 N. Saginaw Rd, Lapeer Mi

The policy of the Lapeer County Tea Party Patriots is to allow only candidates, not representatives of candidates, to speak at our meetings. Candidates will be requested to speak by agreement of the Directors in support on their stated goal of membership education. Those races and issues that are requested remain the prerogative of the Directors concerning topical subjects or candidacy. It is not felt that a representative of a candidate can relate the direct position of the person they represent and that the candidate be held directly responsible for their stated position. _______________________________________________________________________________
